We will for Hands-on Wild Food Workshop at The Cabin in Long Lane, the exact address will be sent to participants. Each class will start with a Foraging Hike Ingredients Exploration. We will begin the day with a guided walk to gather fresh foraged ingredients from the surroundings. We will discuss the importance of using fresh, locally foraged ingredients in cooking each week. When needed we will have Cooking Demonstrations.
Families will have the opportunity to observe and participate in the preparation of simple yet delicious dishes using foraged ingredients. All recipes can be written onto cards for students to jot down and take home.
