Parts Used: Leaves Find It: Native to China, this Ancient Tree can be found planted as an ornamental across the United States and Canada. This tree is one of the oldest living species! They first appeared over 290 MILLION Years Ago. Talk about a living fossil! When to harvest (ON YOUR OWN LAND): You can use the leaves anytime of year for Tea, in the Fall they are sweeter. Store it: Dried leaves store for years. We love to toss the bright yellow fall leaves in our dehydrator at 95 F. Mix with mint or tulsi for a lovely tea. |
