Parts Used: Leaves and ripened seed
Find It: Magically appearing in garden beds, disturbed soil areas and edges of fencerows. Its a great edible green all season leaves can be gathered. Seeds ripen in the fall to black, and are great in crackers or breads.
When to harvest (ON YOUR OWN LAND): Fresh leaves can be used just a you do spinach. Dried leaves make an excellent seasoning and replacement to spinach powder in smoothies, breads and more.
